We love books and we love reading books with kids...  We also love seeing their gorgeous wee faces light up when they get to read their favourite books.  This gorgeous picture is 8 month old Connor loving the Baby Touch Rhyme Book.

With books we believe it's all about quality rather than quantity.  Kids love the repetition of their favourite books and often will be reading the book to you from memory after a certain amount of time!  Which is one of the ways they learn how to read.

Toddlers and pre-schoolers will also learn so much more more from the interaction you have with them about the story.  Its great to have discussion and questions about what is happening and the characters, scenery etc.  Doing this adds a whole lot more benefit to your childs learning rather than you sitting down and just reading the story to them.
